Lunch break Mismaloya, Puerto Vallarta
Had a nice lunch in Puerto Vallarta at La Jolla de Mismaloya. There are condos here as well as an onsite restaurant which is called Maria Bonita. The views were of the bay, and sits next to Barcelo Resort.
The service was very good, the views were great and the strawberry margarita was perfect. A nice fresh house salad was served. Crispy lettuce, shredded red cabbage, sliced cucumber, carrots and tomatoes. I had the cheeseburger which turned out to be the meat was much larger than the bun!
Beautiful bouganvilla and hibiscus were everywhere and from my table I could see ponga boats down below and hear the waves crashing to the shore. Very nice treat for a quick lunch getaway. I went using a coupon from Cupocity and my meal was 54 pesos (less than $5 US) and the typical menu items were between $5 and $9 for lunch.
I went on the bus from downtown Vallarta. Maybe 15 minutes. A lovely ride and enjoyed the lush tropical greenery. The road is being rebuilt, which is a good sign for Puerto Vallarta real estate owners and buyers. Our office has a listing here too: http://7205lajolla.cdrepv.com
